Temple trip for departing elders

On Wednesday, April 1, 2009, we were invited to go with President and Sister Peterson, Elder and Sister Doyle, Elder and Sister Hinman and nine departing elders to the Bern Temple.

President and Sister Peterson took their van with some of the elders and Elder and Sister Doyle took the mission van with the remaining elders. We rode with the Hinmans in their car. The top picture is at the mission home as we were loading the vans.
It was a wonderful experience to be in the temple again in less than a week. This time we were able to do a session. The session was in French but I listened to the English part of the time on the headphones. We met an outstanding young man who is just leaving on his mission to Paris in June. He was so very friendly and kind. Some friends that were accompanying him said that he is general authority material.
Here is the Swiss Temple with the Swiss flag. The trees are just beginning to bud. It won't be long before spring is here.
