On Saturday afternoon, January 30th, Ying and Cheng, a wonderful young Chinese couple from Beijing, came to our apartment for lunch. They have been in Lyon for three years doing graduate work. The first year was spent learning French. Now they speak Chinese, French and English
. Ying is in the school of pharmacy doing cancer research and Cheng is in the area of physics. They have known eleven missionaries. We don't know if they will ever be baptized, but we enjoy their friendship.Elder Wery, on the left, is from Belgium and Elder Nelson is from Alpine, Utah.
