Chateau de Coppet.

We love visiting chateaus and castles. After visiting the Chateau de Nyon, we drove back toward Geneva to Coppet to see the Chateau de Coppet. It is one of the few remaining chateaus that is still lived in. The chateau has been in this particular family since the 17th century. It was so fun to walk through and see the beautiful furniture dating back to the 1700 and 1800's.

This gate is the entrance to the chateau and there is a curved drive leading up to the place, just like in the movies. Both Nyon and Coppet are just up the road from us, only about 20 minutes.
