On Friday, April 3rd, we drove to Lyon with Elder and Soeur Jones. We packed a picnic lunch and headed up the highway. We were able to wend our way through the narrow streets of Lyon to the institute building. Since Brother Simonet was in Paris, the doors were locked, but now we know where it is. We also located the metro stop. We may catch the metro from outside of the city so we won't have to worry about parking in this crowded area.
We left Lyon and drove to Ecully where we ate our lunch in a botanical garden. The stake center was just up the street. We came home through Bellegard, a picturesque little town. We left at ten in the morning and were back in Ferney before four in the afternoon. It was a beautiful sunny day and we were able to see the beautiful flowering bushes and trees.
